WE'RE HAVIN A HEAT WAVE

A tropical heat wave.  Good grief, snow at home and a lot of it and heat in Naples.  Now tell me, is this fair, why couldn't we compromise and have it be 70 in both places but nooooooooooo.  90 again today, it's 5:45 in the afternoon and down to 87.
Jim and I walked our two mile circle last night and I walked it yesterday morning also.  It's kind of fun to walk it at night.

 

There are so many places lite up at night.

 

Lots of palm trees decorated with lights.

 

 So many dramatic light displays with colored lights too.

 

 I didn't walk yesterday so I will have to do our circle at least twice today.

 

This is such a beautiful palm on the corner of our street. 

 

This is a beautiful patio of one of the sites here, they have several umbrellas and a table decorated with grass umbrellas and a little bar set up as if you were stopping by some island.  Too Cute.

We did laundry yesterday and Jim and & just had a lazy day.  I was out with the dogs this morning at 5:30 and Otto was very interested in the hole that is dug next to our site.  We know there is an armadillo that loves that spot and about 45 minutes later one shows up because Makons is tied up outside the camper.  She hates being inside, even during a 90 degree day she would rather be under the camper.  Anyway I went outside because Otto is going nuts inside wanting out, barking like crazy and the armadillo is about 15 feet away from our door.  Makons wants to get him like mad but I just watch him scoot away.  I am sure they are protected and the camp probably can't do anything about them.  I will look into it. 
Jim had to take a picture of a flower next door because of it's beauty.

 

I will have to post pictures of the plants we purchased online.  It was soooooooooo fun.
