IT'S RAINING, RAINING, RAINING, RAINING, RAINING, RAINING

I really don't mind the rain.  Tuesday night we had plans on going out to dinner downtown, that turned out to be too comical for words.  We went to the trendy downtown 5th Avenue area.  Lots of restaurants and shopping.  We could hardly drive through the downtown area there were so many tourists.  It was like being at the state fair and we turned the car around and headed for someplace else, it was 8pm before we found another place and I suggested we drive on by because I was just too tired to enjoy dinner so we went home and had hot dogs.  What a hoot.  Scavo's left the next morning, Otto, Makons & I got there at 6:45 to say goodbye.  They had a lime tree in their spot and we got a few so of course what do you think Jim and I did on Wednesday.
WE WENT TO TOTAL WINES!  I was so impressed, I found a very impressive Merlot, Foxhorn Vineyard's and it was only $7 a bottle there.  I got 6 and they are the double bottles.  It is quite a pleasant inexpensive wine for dinner, from Australia I think.
I do so enjoy my wine with dinner.
This time we made reservations for dinner down at Mangrove's on 5th avenue and made the reservation for 5pm.  We got down an hour early for parking and did a little shopping.  Jim of course picked out a new outfit for me.  He knows what he likes and I needed some new pants that fit, the extra pounds I put on over the winter make me feel like a bear.  It is not something I need.

                                                   MANGROVE'S.

DINNER FOR TWO AND A BOTTLE OF WINE FOR $39.

FLOWERS BY OUR TABLE.

A ROLLS ROYCE PARKED OUT BACK, YOU CAN SEE OUR TRUCK AT THE END OF THE ROW.

Well this is such a great picture, we were outside and an armadillo romes the neighborhood.  All we could get today was his backside.

Otto really wanted to get it.  He would chase it under one of the sheds nearby.  Not everyone puts a skirting around the bottom of their shed.

When we were in Palm Beach we ate at Mulligan's place that overlooked the beach, it was just too cool and windy outside.  We had such a nice time.  I was naughty and had a burger and fries.  It was delicious.  Of course I washed it down with margaritas.  When will I stop.  They were really good.  We had such a nice drive that day.  We drove by so many fancy mansions in Palm Beach including Trump's house but you couldn't see anything.

It was still spring break and people were on the beach even though it was only 68 degrees.

I thought the lifeguard shack was so cute.
