DEDE FOR DINNER

THURSDAY - We had a lovely day, we just sat around the campsite and Jim finished a huge book. He must speed read. It was over a thousand pages and he finished it in a few days. How does he do it? I on the other hand decided to knit. DeDe and I are doing a swap. Her beautiful jewelry for scarves. I have a lot to make for her and what fun I will have. So looking forward to doing it. I only was able to give her two so far but my nimble fingers will fly DeDe came over after work about 3:35. She showed me the surprises that she made for Ali, Skye and Laura. She couldn't make anything for Mac so she decided to make something for Laura. She remembers you kids well. I didn't get to see Lisa on this trip but she is busy with her new job. Saw lots of pictures and I am so mad I forgot to have Jim take pictures of DeDe and I outside having our Margaritas. We had so much fun putting together something for the girls. I helped but not really. She included me in the task but she really did all the work. We had a lovely dinner of Strawberry Salad, Steak, Chicken and Baked Potatoes. Turned out super and a bottle of the rascal of the vineyard, really it was three buck chuck, it was an Oak Leaf Cab. from Walmart and it was really good. Just goes to show, it's not always what you spend. I certainly would buy it again.
