I have so much to be thankful for. First God in my life, my wonderful husband Jim who is so good to me and for me,
and all of our children and grandchildren.
We are blessed and our blessings are overflowing. I wonder how I deserve all of the blessings I recieve. I will just accept them because I believe it's my faith that has made it all possible.
Having a wonderful time in our church family, we had our Holidar Bazaar over the weekend. Huge success. Alexis and the kids were here. River came in to help bag up the goodies that were purchased.
We made $1400 for the baked goods and crafts. YAHOO!
We sold lots after church on Sunday too.
Monday I took my sewing machine to P&D Sewing because the thread keeps getting stuck.
We shopped of course, seems we live to shop. I see Sam's is having
a sale on their blenders and I may just get one, works like a food
processor and my food processor is slowly breaking the plastic off the thingie that goes around. I am sure that is clear. Second time it's chipped away. Piece of junk and its a kitchen aid food processor. Anyway I saw the early bird ad in line for Friday.
I had made a huge turkey dinner on Sunday and sent leftovers home with Alexis and certainly have some for myself.
On thanksgiving I am having ham. We have had lots of turkey.
Stuffing, sweet potatoes, stuffing (with wild rice and water
chestnuts), corn souffle' lots of mashed potatoes and gravey. The
gravey was really good this year. I surely love to eat.
So we did get our shopping done on Monday and I got up early Tuesday and made a pecan pie, I will make a pumpkin pie shortly, love pumpkin pie. Jim has plenty of other pies.
Went and worked at the Library on Tuesday from 9-12 and went over to the church to help with Elaine Sandefur's memorial service. She finally lost her battle with ALS.
We were out of church by 4:30 and had had Thanksgiving Services
at 7:00 Tueday night with pir after. Linda and I worked in the
kitchen and wonderful Heather popped in to help. She is such a sweetheart.
I didn't do anything WEdnesday except some wash and I went over to visit June and Linda. Always enjoy their visits. So lucky to have them for neighbors.
