WELL THINGS DON'T ALWAYS GO AS PLANNED

I went to town and ran out to Gail's and stopped at the meat market to get a gift card and then met Susan for our walk.  Boy I wish I could keep up with Susan.  Instead it's Susan, slow down. She says she doesn't mind walking slow so I am lucky.
I had so many plans on being so productive yesterday but I ended up just laying around.
Went to my Lion's meeting last night and so much went on.  We had the presentation from Habitat for Humanity.  If we all had the excitement this gal had we would have a different world, that's for sure.  She was great.
I asked for and got $500 for coats for kids, now I have to shop and get going on the shopping.  What I do is use the WELCA checkbook to keep things simple.  Now to find good deals.  I will have Jean get specific with our coordinator Terry at the school.
We also are going to chop, haul and stack wood for a family in Remer.  Wait till Dot and Nancy get that email.  "Will they ever come back."
I have one funny antidote: after dinner at the Woodsman, I polled Nancy S and told her I was still hungry.  Funny to me anyway.  Face it I am always hungry.
Today I tackle the sewing room.  Jim had his pre-op physical for his colonoscopy on Thursday.  My goodness he hates drinking that stuff.  We have stories we could tell about that too but won't.
Been doing my devotions every morning and what a wonderful way to start the day.  We are on Matthew for one of our Bible studies and will be starting another book soon.
I must say Pastor Dale does a wonderful job with all our questions, I really thing he would be a wonderful seminar teacher.  He really should pursue that.  It's a gift.
Otto just left his bed in front of the fire and crawled under an easy chair.  Just gets too hot sometimes.
Jim went fishing to Walkanobo Lake down by Aiken and brought back a mess of sunfish since we ate so many for the church fish fry.  I am saving the walleye for our D.O.S.S. Gathering and  won't it be fun to have some members that haven't been here awhile back.  I do have to call  Teresa today.  Georgene and Janet will both be here.  My little house will be bursting at the seams.  YAHOO.  Love  those women.  Well it's 4:45, been up since 4 so I had best git her done.
