TUESDAY IS A WONDERFUL DAY

Don't we love to say our spouse is right, NO we don't, but this time he is and I will change the date of our next eye Doctor appointment.  We need to coordinate the shots we get in our eyes with our vacation dates.  On Monday we went to Sartell to see our Retina specialist, Dr. Reynolds, for our regular 8-10 week shot in our left eye.  I am being selfish, can you imagine that?  I spaced out the appointment incorrectly and on purpose so we could get the heck out of Dodge for a winter vacation. I need to grow up and realize how important it is, especially for Jim's shots.  If we don't time it right he could go blind.  His histoplasmosis is far more serious than my macular edema and I need him to see as long as possible.  His love of reading the printed word is just not something to be ignored.  My goodness he loves reading.  I enjoy it but he revels in it.
Ui am sure I mentioned I just finished "The Postmistress", and now I am on to the second book in A Friday Night Knitting Club novel series.  This one is "Knit the Season".  Great fun.
For FEB 2013 we are reading
"Half  Broke Horses" by Jeanette Walls.
Now I cut and pasted the title from my I-pad notebook and don't know exactly how to change back to my regular print so you will just have to put up with it.
It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Remer.  We didn't leave until almost one and gunned it a bit and was able to get there a little after 3.  Both Jim and I worked on our church stuff sor end of year financial statements, he is the treasurer of the church, a big job and I have a little job of being treasurer of WELCA, our church ladies group.  My financial statement balanced for the first time in 6 years.  If you don't succeed the first time, try, try again.  At ChartHouse we did a film on that with English author "Tony Buzan", he is the inventor of Mind-Mapping".  Really bright fellow. He authored so many books.  We made and sold the "If At First" video/DVD, and it was so much about the fear of failure and how important failure is to us all, without it I didn't know how any of us would succeed when the chips are really down.  Overcoming any fear we have by trying is so key.  Wen we did his film we filmed part of it in a Pizza shop in St Paul.  My Mac is part of the crowd.  He must have been in High Schoolby then.
