Well will I ever get last week done, we had bone builders at on on Thursday but we are changing the time to 8:30. May be a stretch but if we start on time I can make Crafter's at 9:30. Yes, a busy schedule. Thursday afternoon is a blur but I bet two bits I took a nap.
FRIDAY was a blast, I went to Crosby and had an eye check. Need new glasses, Jim wants me to wait till our new insurance kicks in. There is something about glasses on it. Whatever. I drive over to Jean Olson's after, it's been something I have been wanting to do. We celebrated her last chemo treatment. And now Gail starts hers.
After Jean's I met NAncy Green at the realty office so we could drive to Boy River and deliver meat for three meat raffle.
Friday night Jim and I drove to Emily and met Jerry and Mary Birde at the Bungalow for dinner. Fun, it was fun to see how they do their meat raffle. Very different from ours. I don't know which I
prefer. Gfgfg
I worked at the Library on Saturday. Only 10-2. I really enjoy it and try to fit in 2 days a month. There was a HOLLOWEEN party for the kids and Amanada did a nice job with that.
Saturday was our annual Sportsman Fund raiser for the Fire department. Jim went, $20 to get in the door for the brats and he through his donation of $100 at them in raffle tickets and he won a lay down duck blind. Will be fun for Andrew. He is the only one that hunts besides John. It was funny because Jim came home and left again with the truck and I wondered what was going on. Welllyou can't get a lay down duck blind in a car.
We were going to have DOSS at Nancy's but her back went out and she is in a great deal of pain.
I ushered alone on Sunday, Jim went fishing on the Mississippi. Nancy Stefan was kind enough to help me. I had cookies, cheese, crackers, grapes and apples for coffee break.
SUNDAY night was Pizza and Movie night over across the street at Linda's so I walked over there at 4:45. Good movies too and what a spread. I came home by 8 so I could see Murder at Pemberly. I couldn't miss that.
It was so dark when I was walking down my drive for a time I could not see where I was putting my feet. Our yard light is on the fritz and it needs to be fixed but we are at the mercy of the guy who has a boom truck.

TUESDAY MORNING A WEEK LATER
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE TIME ANYWAY?
I was at the church for most of the coat give away, what fun, we gave away 30 pair of new booths and 30 coats, some hats mittens and gloves. The rest we bagged up for kids for Christmas and for the school. What fun, here was one coat for a little girl I would love to have seen on a little girl. It was reversible and cream color and all fuzzy wuzzy on one side. So cute. I spent $960 and here is hoping I can raise that much. Raised $520 so far. I may be making a rather large donation.
Oh well!
Sunday was women's day at church so Linda and I ushered. We of course, fed the masses.
Monday was Bone Builders at 10 am and Monday night we took Linda with us and went to the Reif and saw "Camelot". What fun, how wonderful it was.
Tuesday I drove June to the Dentist in Deer River, I did some shopping.
Wednesday we had Bible study at 10:10 and another Bible
study at 3:30.
Now Thursday turned out to be rather comical.
We changed Bone builders from 12pm to 8:30 am. I had crafter's at 9:30 at my house so it was a tight schedule.
Comical because I locked my car keys and purse inside of the car.
Jim had to come in, he called our local garage guy to come to the rescue and low and behold the Sheriff also showed up and saved the day. My keys wee partially in the ignition so it added
to the solution.
Anyway the Sheriff saved the days and when I arrive home with the pickup I had 6 women around my dining room table.

SATURDAY ALL DAY
Well here we are more than halfway through the month and have I been busy. By the way I am eating a "Honeycrisp" Apple, they are divine. A Minnesota apple by the way.
Since we got home the end of August I have been to Minneapolis at least 3 times, to Minneota once and to Heidi's cabin near Webster and Danbury. I am so glad to be settled in. Too much travel in such a short time. My last trip to the cities was fun. Got to see Dottie, Debbie, Ozzie and Nancy at a baby shower for Dor's daughter-in-law, Emily, Dot's son's Jessie's wife. Having their first baby and its a boy due Jan 1st. Fun baby shower.
I have worked at the Library, baked treats for the senior's, cleaned the church with Linda, Darlene and Jim. With the 4 of us, it usually only takes an hour. That is unless they have release in the basement. I heard they are pigs. How do you feed them something they won't make a mess with. I have been shopping for Coats for
Kids and have spent $960.00 so far. Been busy busy busy.
I sure had a wonderful time at Heidi's cabin - we even had two fire's outside, and did we ever play games. I thin we players "Phase 10" the first and third nights I was there. We played "Sequence" the second night, I never won a game. Couldn't be the Margaritas I brought that night could it be.
We had such a good time sewing baked potato bags and infinity
scarves. We had dueling sewing machines. We both brought our
own machines. Too much fun was had. I am so glad I have Heidi in my life.
It has been a crazy week, I got home just in time on Thursday to go to crafter's but before I went I got a call from Joshlyn telling me "no fall bazar at the school". You could have blown me over. We had to talk about plan "B" now and we did come up with something. "Bake Sale with Craft's" on November22nd" is plan "B".
Who knew. We had fun at crafter's and went to church for bone
builders and I was the only one there, of course I was 15 minutes late. Jim's truck didn't start because he left the lights on.
Then we met at 1pm to clean the church and I worked on getting
thing ready for the coat for kids give away today. I have at least 59 coats and 2 couple dozen boots, hats mittens and scarves.

GOOD MORNING -GOODMORNING - GOOD MORNING
I haven't blogged since the last time I worked at the library and here I go again. Working at the library. Life has been busy. My husband wonders if I am going to stick around for awhile. The answer is yes! At least till Friday and on Saturday I have a baby shower in the cities I just can't miss, so here goes. I will try to fill you in.
It was on September 20th I worked at the library last.
By the way I am making my favorite "Lori's Chocolate Chip Cookies" for Senior Day at the library. There is a clutch of 7-8 women that come in for coffee and treats. You should just smell them. Sweet and made with real Guittard semi-sweet chocolate chips. Yummy. Today of all days I have decided
"if you bite it, write it". So I am accountable for everything that goes in my mouth and I am starting a walking regiment at the school, I am going to go in and walk from 6-7am. My cookies should be done by 5:30am so that should give me time to walk and get ready for the library at 9am.
Coffee is good and I need to find my pills, I misplaced them in the unpacking. Maybe my office, I can't find my purse either. My car was heaped to the nines when I got back from the cities but that is another story.
Sunday the 21st we went to church, and I finished up clearing the floor in my office so you can actually walk in the room, heck you can even dust the floor. I took up the bamboo floor pads for chairs, I don't need them now that I have linoleum on the floors, it looks like maple hardwood flooring, we ripped up the carpet in both my office and Jim's office. It sure is important for us to each have a room of our own to go to. It seems he spends a lot more time in his office than I do. I guess I would have to be home and I feel I have just been going and going lately.
On September 21, Monday I went to help pick up the ditch of the 2 miles the "Lion's" sponsor. I walked with Terry Mejdrich, www.inkedin.com/pub/terry-mejdrich. He is an author and you should check him out. He gave a wonderful presentation to the Lion's one month. He and his wife Darlene live 7-8 miles out of Remer just past me. Have to run but will post more later today.
