ALEXIS AND SKYE ARE COMING HOME OVERNINGHT

What a fun holiday. Dot and Nancy here baking and Dot making to die for meals. One of our cookies had 10 cups of flour. Cookies were coming out of our ears. John and Andrew came up to go fishing and stayed in the camper. They got here on Fri. Fished their little hearts out. On Bowstring and The Hot Pond.

MEMORIAL DAY

How do we say thank you to all our men and women that put themselves in harmsway. THANK YOU! We are so very greatful. Because of you we walk around free. I watched with complete wonder last night the Memorial Day Tribute on TV last night. It was very stiring, touched your very spirit. Our sermon in church was all about "spirit" yesterday. It was about our "Native American" brothers and sisters. We had a baptism and the baby was half Native American so we could see where he was going with this but it was wasted because everyone in that group walked out after the baby was baptized. I simply think they were just uncomfortable. Poor Pastor Dale, his sermons are hard enough to follow but we had to sing a song between every point he made, made it hard to follow.. Could just be me. Let's get on with some news. I can't really say why I haven't blogged of late. Maybe it is as simple as "guilt". I always am behind on everything like folding laundry and getting it put away, DUSTING, I have a funny dusting story, more tragic than funny if your name is Jim. My Diamond earrings were put by me in a really safe place, only I couldn't remember that safe place. Well I found it yesterday in my Wizard of Oz curio cabinet in a clear jar behind The Wicked Witch of the West. YIPEE SKIPEE! Surgery on Wed. What the heck. I can't continue as I am. Gd will be with me the whole way and so will Jim. We pray it goes well. Hey we just saw a fox. He was huge and dark. Someone saw a Puma on the way to church last week and we have a pet bear and yes I am being funny. Our bear has disappeared so we can put bird seed out again.

WE GREW GREY TOGETHER (I thought that was romantic) Jim starts singing "We got married in a fever"

I am so far behind I will never catch up. Pain is such a pain. 94 yesterday, and today. Yesterday was a delight. Doc, Dick & Diane Churchill stopped in for a visit. Dick and Diane are down in Casa Grande and I was hoping to get down To see their place but this was not the year.

WE ARE GOING HOME

As you can tell I have not added to my blog. Have been off the pain pills almost a week now and am finally thinking clear headed. Still have considerable pain but at least I can function. Morning and Night are the worst.

We leave on Sat and it is supposed to be over 100 on Sat-Sun-Mon. We are in the mid 90ies this week and last Sat it was a high of 62.
