Kisses and more Kisses

Jim felt so sorry for me, I was so sick today so he surprises me with lunch from Pei Wei Then later after he got back from lunch with Stan he brought me the cutest earrings and chocolate kisses. How lucky can one girl get. Jim wanted to go for a walk tonight and I suggested we get a wheelchair at Goodwill. I can only walk about 15 steps and then I need to rest. Pain is just my twin these days.

I AM BLESSED TO HAVE GIRL FRIENDS

Had lunch at DEDE'S with Susie, Dot and Dee and me. A wonderful lunch Susie and Dee put on. They were over here on Sun night along with Dot & Dick, Carol K & Gary, (Dogs we're Dot's dog Callie and of course Otto & Makons). Tue night Jim, & I, Dot & Dick, Carol K & Gary all went to the Macronii Grill, Dee & Susie had other plans. We are about an hour from Dee's house.

FOOD FOOD FOOD - is that all we really think about?

Well, yes and no. Been fun seeing Dede. Speaking of food we had her for dinner one night and I think it would be too fun lot have her for dinner tonight because it's fajita's. YUM YUM.

Yesterday we drove to visit some other parks, we should have done that last year and we wouldn't be in this park without a resteraunt and we wouldn't get comments on where our dog can go potty. They are having a pet war here and we are caught up in it. We are as far away from the designated pet area as you can get. They expect our dogs to hold it until they get to the pet area. Let's see, I wonder if little Otto can understand this whole concept. He sure can't junderstand that he can't go in the camper. WHY ME Lord why me.

YES I AM GUILTY OF NOT BLOGGING

You know I just keep waiting to be able to share some good news about my pain level but I just realized, it is what it is and it's getting worse, not better. Hey it looks pretty good with a tan.
I have so many good things to report. We went over to see Elsie and Don our first day after church. Invited them to THE GOLDEN CORRAL!
We wanted to buy but Don wouldn't hear of it so we will connect with them this Friday and go to Appleby's. Jim just can't get enough of soup and salad there.

IT'S ALL A BLUR

And I do mean a blur. Today is Sunday, We are all cleaned up for church. They have it here but we will go back to Victory Lutheran. We so enjoyed it last year. OK here goes, we drove from midnight to about 4PM and stayed one night at Tecumcari NM.Our bodies are now shaped like chairs. Thank goodness for pain medication, I have a lot of it and I am not shy about taking it.

THE MIDNIGHT RUN

It's 0-dark thirty. Now let me explain myself. Otto was barking at midnight because he wanted some water. Jim had to get the bottled water out of the truck and he popped his head in the bedroom and said "Let's Go.". We went to sleep around 7pm so we did have 5 hours under our belt. It's now 39 degrees out. Was 50 out when we stopped at Lakeside Casino last night .

Osceola IA

We are at our first destination. The campground to the casino has to be a quarter of a mile. I am tired. I lost $3 and they gave Jim $5 and he walked away with $10.
At first he gave me a $20 and I gave it back and asked for some one's. This way I only lost $3. Me plenty smart cookie.
We are eating in tonight -have BBQ left.
We are also having Gail's treats. Then beddy-by. Do you know we got up at 3am and left at 6am. I wonder what time we will start our adventure tomorrow. Oh a change of scenery is so wonderful after spending so much time in hospitals and rehab. I am really a 40 year old woman in a body that is almost 90.

MEDICAL UPDATE

I can hardly ignore letting you in on my wellness. Or as we call it, THE NUMBBERS GAME. Now tell me they say, describe your pain between 1 and 10 with a 10 being the most painful. Well I am always at, at least a 5. I have a supply of vicodin that makes my Purse weigh more by at least a pound. At least I got my pic-line removed .My antibiotics now will be taken twice a day orally. I have to joke about the pain. It's just to painful not too.

Back to our trip which by the way was made much nicer by some very special friends and a care package.This morning coffee was ever so much nicer with homemade treats. We just don'tt deserve you.
I don't know if you are aware how instructive these trips can be.
My MASTER teaches me all kinds of good useless stuff. For instance when a semi without the trailer is driving down the road it's called BOBTAILING.

On the road again.

We have been on the road for 100 miles now. We left at 6am, it's now 8am. Tonight we stay at Osceola IA. It's a casino. I feel lucky, well do ya punk? Nap time.
