It was our. 26th wedding anniversary yesterday. Isn't that something. They have been some pretty special years too. We had a lovely dinner at home. No wine but who cares. We had each other and Jim is doing a wonderful Job taking care of me.
John and his friends stopped by coming back from Red Lake with their fill of walleyes.
I hope Jim goes soon for walleyes. I do feel good enough to be left alone. I just have to remember not to lift anything.
I have to finish "A REDBIRD CHRISTMAS" by tomorrow. it is a quick read I hear.

IT'S SUNDAY, I THINK!
The hardest part is trying to figure out what day it is. I am doing almost too well. How can I possibly feel this good? I am well aware that the 90 HYDROCO/APAP whatever help me feel good. I have been remembering to take one every 4 or 5 hours. I can take two but one works plenty good.
All my back pain in my legs and back has disappeared - it's so hard to believe. We got home Friday night. At 9PM. It was a long day. We got up at 2AM, left at 3:30AM and arrived at St Mary's Hospital at 5:30Am.
Things didn't go as planned but do they ever? I was able to knit a scarf for Laura and let me tell you it was a big hit with the nurses. We sure had a fun time discussing knitting. They weren't happy with my EKG from Remer and wanted me to go through a stress test at the heart institution art of the hospital so off we went. It aws chemicle induced so no running or treadmill on my part. They sure put me through the mill. Injected radio active drugs to get the heart to react and injected me twice and put me on a machine that takes pictures all around the heart. One injection made you out of breath as if you had been running. Weird. Then they have to inject something to get you back to normal.v imagine me back to normal. It took a couple of hours but the surgery was a go so instead of an operation at 8:40 we went in at 11AM and instead of a 2 hour surgery it was a 5 hour surgery. I guess everything went well because they let me go home and we headed out to Remer at about 7PM. They changed my dressing before I left and Jim did it Sat morning after my shower.
I felt so good yesterday I even went over to June and Gordy's across the street for coffee and cookies.
