IT'S FRIDAY AGAIN

Went to a Tom and Jerry party at Skee and Nancy Green's house on Friday afternoon.  Was fun, Jim was up on Red Lake fishing.  We left early Sunday for Mac's and had a very wonderful time.  Alexis, River and Autumn and Skye were all there.  Just hung out for a few days, certainly ate like crazy but had fun trying out some new recipes like the creme brûlée egg bake, potato sausage bake, baked sweet potato with crumble topping, cookies, had a lot of fun with Christmas pretzels, Rolo's, pecans and of course cookies and Special K bars and Laura's favorite Rice Krispies marshmallow red hots Christmas Wreaths.  A mouthful to say the least.  It was fun and a wonder time at Mac's, just to watch Hope and Hudson, River and Autumn.  Went to early church but still had a candlelight service, the music was wonderful and a good sermon.
We went to John and Pam's on Christmas Day and had a very nice time and all 7 Grandchildren were there.  The Wester family is bigger than the Smith family.  Jane makes a wonderful Lasagna and Pam put on a lovely spread.  There I think I got it off highlighter.  A computer wizz I am not.
I have been a hermit since I have been home but I want to go to thr Rapids today and it's snowing.  Going to have to weigh this carefully.  Later.

IT IS FRIDAY AND WHERE DOES THE TIME GO

I did nothing on Thurs.  it was a wonderful day, I didn't leave the house, of course it helped since Jim took the car to Mpls. for his annual bladder cancer check and the pickup has the snow plow on it, I am not driving that monster.  I made spritz cookies but really just laid around and knitted.  I sent off a package of about 6 scarves to my God child Erin Roe in Sauk Rapids just for the fun of it.  I need to get at more fun things to do today.  Maybe some puppy chow for the kids and chek mix for the kids.  So much to do and here I am on the computer.  I was looking up a couple of addresses and found one.
I sure am behind on Christmas cards.  I will probably get it done but I just don't know when.  Jim left Wed. morning early and came back Thurs. aftn. and he is off again, this time with the fish house to Red Lake.  Meeting John, Rachael and Mikie.  More walleye.
Well I need to get at it so more later.

TODAY IS WED

Having a hard time remembering when I last posted.  Seems like it has been awhile.  Monday was a busy day, we left about 11 am and it is my fault we left so late, just couldn't seem to get it together so we didn't get to Brainerd until at least 12:20.  We were due there by noon.  We were to have picked up Paul and Loretta but Paul was sick with a bad cold so he had to cancel.  We were invited along with Duane and Teresa to Dennis and Judy Autumn's  for lunch.  Had a lovely time.  Scalloped potatoes and ham and vegetables and dessert of course.  Left by 3pm, we had to stop at Cub on the way home but made it back in time to get ready to go out again, we had a Lion's dinner at The Woodsman, Jim came as a guest.  We had Prime Rib, we could bring wine.
On Tue. that day seemed as busy, I made a new casserole, won't make it again, it was OK but nothing that stood out.  We had our Hill Toppers Christmas party at church.  White elephant gifts, there were 9 of us there,  9 of us, can you stand it.  Teresa works so hard setting everything up and no one hardly shows.  It was a fun event in spite of the few of us that showed up.  I think we should cancel until summer.  I will have to voice that.
On Tue eve. I had tickets for The Lowe Family Christmas Spectacular and invited Linda Johnson, she cleans our church and we wanted to do something for her.  She cleans our church as her gift to the church.  That's 52 weeks a year times 4 hours each time at least.  It is one of the best gifts ever because it affects each and every family at Bethany.  We used to all take turns but when she moved back to Remer to be near her folks she took it on.  We went to dinner first at the Sawmill Inn, it really was a fun evening, at least until the drive home.  It started snowing about 30 miles from home quite heavy and it was white knuckle time.  Took my time and we made it home by 11pm just fine.  I love Linda, she is a real jewel.
Wed. dawned and Jim left the house by 7am.  He had to go to Mpls. for his annual check up, it has been at lease 30 years since his bladder cancer.  He is doing well.  He will be back tomorrow.  I know I need to get some things together for our trip down to Mpls. for Christmas but I sure am lazy today.  All I have done all day is eat.

WINTER WONDERLAND

MOMDAY AND I AM THINKING DEEP THOUGHTS

Sometimes I wonder about my heritage.  I know when Grandma Olson came over from Norway they were very poor and like many immigrants looking for a better life.  I don't know how fate steps in to our lives sometimes, how she met Grandpa Olson, I know he was born in the U.S., they married and Mom was born in 1916, Cora the firstborn in 1906, so Inga was 21, probably Married that year when she became pregnant.  Grandpa or R.C. sat down at age 52 with Rheumotid Arthritice, he was a farmer because his Dad died but I guess he always wanted to be a lawyer, this is hearsay according to Mom.
The reason I mention all this is because I always felt we were poor white trash.  It's a funny term, my Dad died when I was 7 and here Mom was pregnant with number 5.  I simply don't know how she managed for the years when she was married to my Dad.  We lived in a sack behind the body shop in town when he worked there in two rooms.  He was never home and when he was he was out drinking and carrying on with other women, according to Mom.  He worked road construction.  Don't remember him at all.  I look at my siblings, myself, to see how far we have come and have we made our parents proud or have we lived down to them.  I can't be the judge.
Pretty deep stuff for so early in the morning,  I was reading my daily devotion today and how Christ is our perfect gift.  We sure have moved away of making Christmas so commercial, I am glad of that, so many in need and so many charities that can use our help.
I worked hard all my life and accomplished so much, did well for myself but see my girls struggle, life is so much easier with a partner.  It may just not be meant to be for them at this time.  Timing is èverything, we sold our house in Burnsville at the right time, retired at the right time, my second marriage works so well, he manages our finances, I would make a shambles of it.  We love each other and care so much about so many of the same things.  We are truly blessed and I thank God and that I have God in my life.  Jesus is the reason for the season.

BUSY WEEK

Here it is Fri. Already.  Warming up an egg bake in the oven.  Where does the time go?  I rested Mon. and Tue., just knitted and crocheted, had fun till Tue. night when I had to drink the prep for a colonoscopy on Wed. Got that over with, we went out to one of our favorite breakfast places in Deer River, The Sportsman.  Stuffed hash browns -yummy.  We then stopped by the vet. T drop off a stool sample of Otto's, I feel like he is having issues, it was frozen so they want a new sample, I have a vet. Appt. today at 10:15.
Yesterday was Bethany Crafter's at. Audrey's, so many goodies, and a fun gathering.  In the afternoon Lorretta and I went to the yarn store in Outing.  More fun.
Jerry Birtie showed up by 7 last night, he and Jim got up at 5 this morning to go ice fishing on Upper Red Lake.  You can only fish about 1/3 of that lake because its a reservation.  You always catch walleye there.  He and John and Andrew were there last weekend.
I have a busy day.  Vet. Appt. this morning and Wine Club at Helen's this afternoon at 5pm.
LATER!

IT SNOWED ALL DAY SUNDAY

Well what a day, we had church and then a brunch, reminds me that we are going to have egg bake this morning, leftovers, and then a music concert, it was lovely.  Jim brought Pastor's daughter Rebecka some walleye as a gift.  She sings like an angel.  It was a lovely concert and we were blessed by the music.
It snowed all day.  I think  Skye, Mac and Alexis got 12-16 inches.  We got 5-6 inches I think, not sure but it sure snowed.  Good for the industry. Not for the lakes.  Too much insulation but with the cold and it says it's 6 below up here this morning the lakes will build ice.  A lot every day.
It took a long time for them to get home.
I get up in the morning and I have so many things too choose from I never know where to start.  Should I knit, crochet, read, write notes or blog.  So many things to choose from.

SAT AND TRAVELING HOME

Well I got home quite safe and sound on SAT. by 1pm.  Only made a couple of stops, I picked up two  white plain aprons and I will have to get another one, I don't know what I was thinking, next fall Heidi, Mark and will, be doing the "Chile Cook Off"at Boxelder Bug Days in Minneota, I need to come up with aprons for us and why not start with a basic white.  Now what to put on them.  We will be making Norwegian Chicken Chile.  A secret recipe that is highly guarded thought the year.  More aprons, would be fun if Pat and Jim came too.  This will be a big deal for us.  I am open to suggestions for our team, so far it's the "Johnson Team".  Jens Johnson was one of the founders of Minneota and homesteaded in the community early on.
Back to my Sat.  Got some towels to crotchet, having a blast with that and picked up some things for baking.  Some good melting chocolate and candy canes.  Heck when I got home I made 3 separate trips to town for stuff for the 2 egg bakes.  Ask me if I have it together.  I really must be tired that I can't check out the recipe just to see if I have things on hand.
Had a nice dinner, John, Andrew and Jim went up to Red Lake to fish for walleyes, how yummy it will be.
We were supposed to get a huge storm bur all we got so far is less than an inch.
Have to finish off the egg bakes.  Good to be home.
Great to be home.

THAT OLD GANG OF MINE

Where to begin, as I was sitting in the lobby I just knew I had to do something about seeing Sharon, with three of the girls left I knew I wouldn't be missed so I decided to leave by 8:30.  I called Sharon and she was available at 9am.  She was going to a pottery showing over in Woodbury and asked if I wouldn't mind us visiting on the way.  I even found 3 pieces of seconds I really liked.  Was fun, they had cider, cookies and she does some lovely pottery.  I will post it later.
Sharon found out she might be available for a study on her breast cancer, it's new and there are only 61 participants in the US that are participating in this study.  It is offered for second time breast cancer patients.  I think Sharon will do it.  You do a lumpectomy instead of a mastectomy so you don't then have to have such a radical reconstruction.  Followed by 3 weeks of radiation twice a day six hours apart for three weeks.  It was so good to see her.  I was with her almost 3 hours.
I had to be at Gwen's by noon and I was there by 11:45.  Se made us lunch, we has a little wine and pizza and. A dip and chips Wendy brought.  Together again, Gwen, Wendy, Sarah and I.  What fun.  Wendy and Sarah are the only ones of us at ChartHouse.  Sharon was there too but in downsizing after I retired, Sharon was let go and so was Gwen.  It was so good to see the girls and we have already put it on our calendar for next year.  It started to snow so by 2:45 I headed for the barn, in other words I needed to get from Farmington to Mounds View before rush hour or instead of one hour by car it would take two.  I got to Skye's by 3:45.  Pour Skye, she only gets what is left of me.  I was so tired, we watched a movie, she ran errands and I went to bed early.  I was exhausted for the 4 lunches and 3 dinners out.  It was a wonderful time.
Recap: Lunch,
TUE: Susi - Ozzie - Tif - Dot; WED: Judy - Barb -Vera;
THURS: Dot -Debbie- Susi     FRI: Gwen -Sarah -Wendy.
Recap: Dinner,
TUE: Melanie; WED:  Lynn -Nancy-Dot; THURS: Dot - Debbie - Susi
I sure was on the go.
Now to home, we got over an inch of snow so there is a blanket of white out there.  I know Jim is going to go ice fishing up to Red Lake with John and Andrew today and I have to get home as soon as I can for the dogs.  We have our. Christmas concert at church with a brunch so I have two egg bakes to make.  And the babies, Makons and Otto, I can't leave them very long.  Nerd to get some soup and more melting chocolate at Colburn's.

Thurs -OFF AGAIN

Well today I had a little extra time and Skye and I made up some cookies.  I had bought some melting chocolate to put inside of round pretzels and we made sugar cookies.
I met Dottie Debbie and Susie at Pei Wei at 1pm.  Lovely lunch and off to check in at The Homewood Suites by Hilton.  For $159 plus tax of course we got a lovely room with 2 queen beds, small living room and kitchen and dinner and breakfast for all four of us.  Now how can you beat that for price.  We also spent at least 3 hours shopping at stores so expensive I would never buy anything.  I don't know, it must be me.  Fun being with the girls.  That's the important part.  We also went to the movie Anna Kerenana - I will have to check the spelling.  It sucked.  What a waste of good actors.  We couldn't believe it.  We got back to our hotel and talked till midnight.  Too fun and I am down in the lobby of the hotel typing away, and what a lovely lobby it is.  Cosy in front of the fire.

Wednesday,what fun again.

Today Skye cut, foiled and toned my hair.  Darling - I look marvelous!  What a beautiful job she does.
Off to Judy Thompson's house today for lunch.  I am meeting Vera and Barb there. The four of us used to work together at Holiday Foods in Account's Payable for four years.  We did have fun and we have got together for birthdays and Christmases for years now.  The birthdays have gone by the wayside but it was so special to get together for the holidays.  Judy's husband Bill is not doing well.  The Parkinson's is taking it's toll.  It's funny I suppose, we all have or had someone to take care of and maybe that's what it's all about.  Being there for people, the girls liked the bracelets.  I of course do too.  That's what I gave this year, Lorretta's pop-tab bracelet's.  Too fun for me.
I was then off to dinner.  I think Jim is going to be correct, at least a $500 few days.  Tonight I met Lynn and Dot and Nancy for dinner at The Sunshine Factory.  We had such a lovely time.
I hadn't see Lynn for so long.  Got back to Skye's by 7:30.

TUE AND WE ATE OUR WAY TODAY

Met at YUM'S  by Calhoun - met Susie, Dot, Tif and Ozzie at 11am, we had a lovely time and then I killed a few hours at Ridgedale Shopping center with Ozzie, she left about 3:30 and I just walked until I got tired.  Good for me to walk.
Melanie showed up after work, we met by 5pm.  Had a lovely dinner at "The Big Bowl".  Melanie seems to have gotten over her anger at the world.  I hope she can continue to heal.  Life isn't fair and we just need to learn just how precious it is.  Go back to Sky's about 7pm and of course we had a fun evening, we always do.

SUNDAY WAS TOO FUN

Well, where to start.  Went to church, I felt so bad because all I got out of the sermon was the connection he was trying to make about "road construction".  I simply didn't get it but then I can be as dense as a stick.
We had wonderful birthday cake downstairs.  I wanted seconds but didn't.
We had an early lunch and it wasn't until about 2pm Jim asked me what day were our concert tickets for?  Well they were for that night.  We almost forgot to go.  We were so looking forward to it.
A LETTERMEN CHRISTMAS!
They sang a million Christmas songs, they were wonderful, what the did to make "The Twelve Days of  Christmas" so entertaining was just to funny for words.  It was a riot.
They sang a lot of their old standards,  Theme from "A Summer Place", Going Out of My Head/Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, Put Your Head On My Shoulder, Smile, Shangri-La, Traces/Memories.  Too name a few.  They have one original member.  Tony Butala.  At 75 he stills sounds pretty darn good and one of the other members Donovan Tea, has been with him since 1984.  He was with a group called "Th Young Americans".  The other member of the troupe was equally wonderful, but hearing Donovan sing "Oh Holy Night" let me tell you, he received a standing ovation for that.  It was wonderful entertainment and sure get you in the Christmas  mood.

SAT. AGAIN - HOW DO THE WEEKENDS ROLL AROUND SO FAST?

I felt so bad today, I just found out from Dot today that here sister Betty died.  She was 86 and had lived a full life but it just makes you feel so bad for her family.  The have 5 daughters.

Yesterday was fun, Sue Selenski picked me up at 7am and we were at the Maplewood Mall by 10 am.  Stopped only once on the way for a McDonald's latte.  We stopped at JoAnn's Fabric first and I picked up 2 yards of muslin for liners for Baked Potato Bags and Dog Beds.  I forgot my coupon and we stood in line at least 10 minutes trying to get the app on Susan's I phone.  Finally got it so I could get a 20% discount.  What a silly waste of time.  Why couldn't they just give me a coupon from a flyer laying around.  KILL ME!
Then off to Coldwater Creek, Talbot's, Christopher Banks and we hit Chico's.  Now do I have a story for you.
" THE BAT STORY"
Susan found the most to die for gorgeous dark blue/teal shade of velvet blazer.  Tank top and scarf to match.  Too lovely.  I found a cute tank top, red, was $69 marked down to $19.99.  My price range, has about 50 little red leather circles sewn on the front.  Perfect for the blazer I was wearing.  Yes yes I will get to the bat.  They had two discount racks one up and one lower.  Susan was finished trying on clothes and came over to the discount rack and found a lovely burnt orange sweater and was caring it over to the cash register to go to the mirror to try on and boom it happened.  Inside the sleeve a brown bat, The little brown myotis, our most common bat species, occurs over most of North America. Together with the Northern myotis and big brown bat, it hibernates in Minnesota caves and mines. In summer, they roost in caves, mines, hollow trees, and buildings. Groups of these bats hang upside-down in caves. The Tri-colored bat is our smallest species, weighing only two-tenths of an ounce. It is found in the same Minnesota caves and mines, though it is uncommon and almost solitary.  The silver-haired bat is a forest dweller that usually lives near water. It feeds among the trees much like the Eastern red bat, though the latter is noted for its unusual feeding habits. Usually a red bat pair will fly the same route, over and over, in search of food. Another woodland species is the hoary bat. It is the largest Minnesota bat, weighing an ounce or more. All three species are solitary, roost in trees, and migrate south for the winter.  I think it was The Hoary Bat.  You wouldn't believe the size of this guy.  He was at least an ounce and brown.  I told the clerk to grab a clear plastic shoe box that was on the shelf and put on top of it and they did but the clerks were panicking.  Susan and I weren't and I don't know why not, it was in the sleeve of the sweater she was going to try on.  I asked them immediately if they offered "bat discounts."  The called someone to come and get the bat,  We continued to shop.  She didn't get the bat discount.  The nerve of those clerks. You wouldn't believe how squashed the clothes were on the discount rack.  He really had to search for that hiding place.
We left Chico's and headed for Albertville Outlet Mall, Stopped at Subway for our lunch, went to Chico's and Christopher Banks.  By then it was 10 to 3 and we were tired, we had called Gerry Gustaphson and went over to Gerry and Herb's place for coffee.  Was so fun to connect with them, they had lived in Remer until his health took them to Albertville to live.  A lovely town home on one level.  Herb is 10 years senior to Gerry.  We headed out at 4:15, they aren't but 5 minutes away from the Mall.  We stopped at the Hallmark store in Elk River and McDonald's in Garrison on the way home for a quick bite.  Got home by 7:45 so we were only gone 13 hours.  Quite a whirlwind trip.  Fun and I would do it again.
Slept like a baby from 9pm to 5 am.  Feel like a million bucks and am working on towels to hook on the stove.  It's Elaine's pattern and cute as can be.

WELCA and eye appt. today

I had a heck of a time finding my Gather magazine so I could do my Bible study for today but found it last night.  11th hour as it were.  I put a topper on the tree yesterday, it is an old one of my Moms.

MONDAY AFTERNOON

I will get the pictures in now and add notes later.  If I can find them in my picture file.

MONDAY AGAIN

The weeks melt by.  Yesterday it was 10 degrees when I got up, today it is 27, big difference.   Coffee is good today, half decals half high test, good brands, I like to mix it up.
Thanksgiving is over and I have so much to be thankful for.  One thing, Bing is singing.  Remember "Christmas is a Coming".  The tree is up, has been for a month now.  I like Christmas.  The kids (Alexis brought River and Autumn and Buddy their long hair Chihuahua and Skye brought her dog Nico Blue, he is half King Charles Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel.  A Cockiler as it were.  I cooked like a crazy person.  My stuffing was a little dry but the rest turned out.  Put gravy on the stuffing and we had plenty of that.  Wat a blessing it is to live close enough to see the kids on holidays ans special occasions.  We will spend Christmas at Mac's this year.
I am just so grateful for the kids. Having "The Bethany Crafters" on Thurs. WELCA on Wed. Bible Study on Tue.  so will be a fun week.  I had better look at the calendar or I will forget something.  We'd. I have an eye appt. before WELCA and Jim has to go to Sartell for a shot in his eye.  I think he has to go to the VA in Sartell about his glasses too.
I need to get busy and finish some knitting projects, some sewing projects too.
I am having fun with my rotary cutter.  Need to get one for Skye.
Nat is on now, I have a five disc changer connected to the Bose radio, sounds good to me.

WEDNESDAY MORNING

The election is over, my guy didn't win and now I pray for our President Obama and our country.  I will support him in any way I can and with God guiding him, our country will heal and grow in the right way.  We must succeed as a nation.
I had a fun morning, I wrote to My friend PJ Perkins from Alexandria.  X We go way back and she now lives over by Lake Cowdry in Alexandria, her famous son, the actor John Hawks purchased for her a house.  We haven't seen each other for a long time, would be fun to get together for lunch.  Maybe I will be able to some day.
Lyn Hop called me yesterday, what fun to talk to her, we reminisced about how when Tar would go off for coffee at 8am and Bob would go to work we would get on the phone for an hour to chat and start off our day of work and taking care of the kids.  God help me, I think of the Mother I was.  I did love it so but so busy, doing all the books and taking care of 3 kids under 5 and then there was Melanie.  I missed Lyn so much when we moved.  What a wonderful friend.
Yesterday it was "shot in the eye day".  It almost helps right away.  It was getting so I could hardly see out of my left eye.  It improves almost immediately.  For awhile Jim and I were getting our shots together but he needs them more often.  Now we have to find a place in Florida when we go there.  What a hassle.  We were able to do it last year in AZ.

My clock says it's only 5:09, of course that means that it is only 4:09 yesterday, have to get used to a new time all over again.  Oh well.
LEFSE was wonderful, we rolled out 25 pounds of the stuff and of course it tasts brtter on that day than any other hot off the grill.
I will add pictures later.

TODAY IS THURSDAY BUT IT FEELS LIKE THE WEEKEND (MEA)

I know they don't call it MEA (Minnesota Education Association) anymore, it is now Education Minnesota Conference but it just doesn't have the same ring to it.  It just goes to show you That not every idea is a good idea.  I like MEA, everyone knows what you are talking about, in fact it is a good time for kids and grand kids to come home.  John and Andrew showed up last night.  It seems like they haven't been up forever.   I need to make some chocolate chip cookies.

Do you know I went to town 4 times yesterday.  Thank goodness we only live 2 miles out of Remer.  No we won't answer the question why couldn't I do it all on one trip.
One thing I an excited about is the Pastor's Christmas gift.  I am collecting the funds for it and we are giving it to him on Sunday.  Lucky man.  I love one-hundred dollar bills.

At 9am, Janet and I served for WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America).  I may my famous egg bake, Heidi's recipe but it always seems to be a hit.  It was a good Bible study too, Jean does such a nice job as leader.

At 3:30 Jean and I met Terry from school and gave her all the winter coats, hats, scarves, mittens and boots we had left from our Winter Care and Share.  Jean coordinated, I was the legs.  I had $400 and shopped thrift stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Savers, Target and Walmart, next year we plan on calling it Coats for Kids.  Tells more, we learn how to better utilize our funds.  It's funny because last night on the news we heard they have over 9,000 coats for kids.  We are indeed small potatoes, but we feel if we have kept one kid warm, it's all been worth it.

BEHIND AGAIN

I don't know where the time goes but I have been busy, I am going to start with today and work backwards.  First of all Jim went fishing and just look at his big Northern.

I have been on the computer most of the day just trying to get the some of the publicity done for our craft sale.  Just don't ask, I volunteer for too many things.  Why oh why-o.
I dropped 6 letters in the mail to radio stations today and emailed 2 newspapers with stories and went to Longville and placed a story and ad for 2 weeks to advertise it so I may do more radio stations tomorrow but for today I am done.  I have to leave in a few minutes for our Lions meeting.  We have it on the 3rd Monday of every month with a dinner and meeting at the Woodsman cafe in town.  Believe me the meals are forgettable.  For $10.25 you would think we would get wine with our meal.  Just kidding.  I have eaten so many yummy brownies today I am thinking about turning into one.  Got to run.  Later

WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?

Here it is Wednesday already and what have I done with my time.  My back was sore yesterday so I must have done something.
Getting Richard's clothes washed and sorted has been a huge task, had to toss much, not going there, we sure appreciate all your card's and letters and thoughts and prayers.
I am also getting summer stuff put to the camper instead of a closet, makes sense to me, Florida will be our next stop this winter.  Jim has to get the camper winterized.  I should say "The Castle",  I worked our churches "Winter Care and Share" last night from 4-7pm, we sure have lots compared to last year, we just get better at it I think.  Met many nice Mom's and kids. I have compiled a list of items we didn't have and will pick up because we have some funds left.  YIPEE SKIPEE!
Jim has to go to Sartell to see Dr. Reynolds for another shot in his eye.  He now has to go twice as often as I, poor baby.  We know how blessed and lucky we are so these rye problems and back problems are just a blip on the radar.
This year I have lost 3 first cousins and Jim his brother.  We feel so blessed to be here still, and together.  We have such a wonderful life, I think we will even do some traveling next summer out East.
I know you all will think I am nuts but I have already started listening to Christmas music, I just don't get enough of it.  I really don't get to the Malls and I bet they will get decorated soon.

Believe it or not I wish I was traveling down to Minneota for a funeral at my home church Hemnes Lutheran Church this weekend, it's a 5 1/2 hour trip and I am just not up to it.  We have so much going on at church.  Just can't do it.

I am selling raffle tickets before church for Lorretta's fashion doll.  I will have to take a picture of it and post it.  Later.

CARRIE AND DAVE'S CABIN

RICHARD

FRIDAY EARLY AM

I don't know what happened to Thurs, I spent it cleaning out the camper we haven't  finished that job.  Doing Richard's clothing and stuff is overwhelming.  I think of what my kids have to go through when I am gone.  Heck at least there won't be a time limit, we own everything here. Such as it is.  Our place may not be paradise to everyone but it is our little slice of heaven.

By the way on Thurs it went from shirt sleeve weather to 33 degrees and a lot, a whole lot of wind.  This morning there is a trace of snow on the deck. Look's cold out but it says it's still 33 degrees out.

It does not seem to be saving what I am typing.  I feel like jumping off a bridge.  This computer stuff is driving me nuts.  Why does it not save what I am typing?

If I hit preview after I type something and before I post it seems to save it.  I guess that is what I have to do.  Go figure.

I had so much wonderful stuff about the grand kids that we are so blessed to have our 3 grand daughters  and slue of grand sons.  We did Face Time with Hudson and Hope last night, somersault's galore.  Too fun watching the grand kids grow up.

All for now.  The thoughts I had before are gone.  I need all the energy I can muster.  Jim has to go back to the apartment and finish up today, hire a cleaning lady, do what ever is necessary to finish up.  It hasn't been cleaned in some places for 11 years, neither have the outside of my cupboards.  I need my kids here to do it, what I need is the cleaning lady Sue Selenski told me about.  She is only $15 an hour.  I will call her.

WED.

I'm so tired, we worked on Richard's apartment until 8pm last night so for about 4 hours.  With this cold coming on I do feel like what is that old expression? I feel like what the cat dragged in!  The coffee feels good going down but the jeans are too tight.  My size 14 jeans are in the washer and I had to resort to size 12.  Silly me.  I have gained too much weight, AGAIN.

I have been saying a prayer for Richard's soul, to have respect for his things, he may not as lived as clean as I would but to remember how very personal it is to invade someones space after they have departed this earth.  He was a gentle soul to me, he loved being feisty and jobbing people.  You would regret messing with him.  I don't think he would ever back down but then I don't think my Jim would either.  Anyway I knew the quite respectful Richard.  He was always kind and good to me and that is how I will remember him.  He didn't live clean but that can be fixed.  He was a Vietnam vet you know.  Agent orange took its toll on him.  He was a brick layer by trade. And from his old pictures quite adorable.  He used to wear his hair Curley.  I will have to post an early picture of him.  Have lots to do today, get his apartment all cleaned out.  May as well get it done.  His daughter Sonya is holding up rather well.  Her significant other (Jim) is there helping too, we have to get back by 10am this morning.  We will store stuff they can't take home today, he said he was going to give me some of his agates and his daughter knowing how much I love them gave me all of them.  A wonderful remembrance.  All for now, over and out.  Jim was just telling me how Richard felt about us being at was now and how he felt we shouldn't be over there.  He isn't alone.  It's one we can't win.

TUESDAY WITH SONYA AND JIM, RICHARD'S DAUGHTER

Jim was telling me there were at least two instances yesterday where either he or Richard would have called during the game he was watching.  I used to get such a chuckle out of those when they were together watching the games they so dearly loved.  They both knew a lot about football and were gregarious about it.  You just feel so bad that Richard didn't have someone living with him that could watch his back.  I think he liked his alone life.  I badged up at least 6 garbage bags of dirty clothes to wash.  You couldn't even walk into the bedroom the pile was so huge.  There is still more.  He said I could have more of his Agate collection.  You should see it.  Amazing.  I know we will be going back today. I would like to do more cleaning.  It's what I do. I talked to his sister Joy last night.  She is in Virginia Beach Virginia.
Well I have to report I have a bad cold.  Thank you Jim!

SAD NEWS

Jim's brother Richard Vincent Wester, was found dead on his bathroom floor this morning.  Jim talks to him every day and couldn't reach him yesterday at all and knew he was home so we were worried.  We finally got hold of manager and they found him.  We turned around, we were near Eau Claire WI on a trip but will cut it short by a week.  He was the same age as me, 71, his birthday was May 3rd.

SAT. & SUNDAY

Friday night we hit Cable WI, met Carrie and the family and had dinner at The Chamber of Commerce Tent for Cable WI - there was a pork BBQ with all the trimmings.  It was quite a feast, then we came back to our campsite for a camp-fire.  It was fun.  We got up and met Carrie and the family at a breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and fixen's at the Cable Community Center.  Shopped around Cable after because it was their "Fall Fest", so vendor's were all over the place, car show too.  I found a hot pad that looks like a cupcake - thought it would be a good project for our craft sale.  Also found earrings for my purple jacket.  Jacket is at home or I would post a picture of it.
We went to our campsite for hot dogs, rainbow salad, chips and beans.
Stopped at a place called Berry Patch and found the most fun scarf for my teal or orange or yellow shirts.
Went to Carrie's Cabin for a boat ride, kids and Jim wet a line but caught zero.  I am trying to remember where we had dinner Friday night but can't.  Just remembered, it was at a resort and they had wonderful hamburger baskets, kids were busy with video games and we had such a nice time.  Got home about 9:30, big day.

Sunday morning Jim and I went to Trinity Lutheran Church, it was Communion Sunday and it said if you are not a member please talk to the Pastor before communion so Jim did and he asked us if we were considering joining the Missouri Synod Church and Jim said no, so the pastor asked us if we wouldn't mind not taking communion.  The sermon was all about how we are all God's children, but they didn't want us taking communion so when communion time came around, we left. it was the end of the service anyway but it made me feel unwelcome and I guess unwanted.  They were so friendly when we arrived.  It was such a contradiction.

Carrie and family were outside in the parking lot as we came out so we took the most beautiful drive ever to a place about half an hour north and west.  "Delta Dinner", we had a 50 min wait, can you believe Jim didn't mind at all.  What a trooper.  We all had coffee and sat at tables outside waiting.  Fun breakfast and it's hard to find the words to describe the ride.  Spectacular.  Like nothing I have ever seen, the rolling hills and maple trees.  Red, rust and so many shades of gold with green thrown in for show.  What fun.  Made a pit stop and I bought a "Tried and True" cookbook from a roadside store for 3 buck, it was from Hayward.  Looks inviting.

We went to check out a campsite across from Carrie's on Namakogan Lake, beautiful place, I think we could make due with it.  Wish John and Pam had kept their camper and we could all camp there.  Drove back to Carrie's cabin and spent the afternoon, I pulled out the old knitting, I brought some with so I could make a scarf for my new jacket that is lavender.  Weird color but it works,  Great jacket that I got at a Goodwill for $4.

We came back to our campsite at 3pm, tired but feeling so good, good weekend with the family, I made a cocktail and a fire, found some great logs in the woods and called my friend Sharon and had a nice chat.  Jim went on the computer, he is trying to reach Richard but couldn't raise him.  Sometimes Richard let's his phone go dead.  Forgets to charge it.

Carrie and family stopped by our campsite on their way out of town.  Carrie caught a big Northern fish from her dock by having a blue gill on her line and the Northern was chasing it and Dave netted it.  What a hoot.  It was show and tell time, that's for sure.

Jim and I had a nice steak dinner and we went to bed early.  We want to leave our campsite by 8am because we are leaving today to meet some classmates of his a couple hundred miles east of here.

WALKING IN THE WOODS

It's Friday, yesterday was a nice day for doing nothing.  We took a nice drive up to Carrie's cabin in the woods and it is a cosy spot near Cable WI, the town has big doing's this weekend.
We found a bakery in Hayward WI we went to yesterday and will go back to today.  You can tell we are old people when what we do is seek out bakeries.

CAMPING LIFE: WAITING FOR THE SUN TO RISE

ALEXIS IS THE SAME AGE AS JACK BENNY TODAY

This is the second time I have posted today, I was quite into my posting when I accidentally deleted all of what I had typed.  Instead of getting even and throwing my I-Pad across the room I just started over.  What a trooper.
We landed in Hayward WI about 3pm yesterday afternoon.  Beautiful drive, but I am getting ahead of myself.
On Sat. Dot made cookies.  Lots Of cookies, a chocolate drop cookie and Ginny's famous  oatmeal date nut cookies that are heart healthy or is that an oxymoron.
We made a braided bread that I bought from Krista at church for volleyball.  Had to be baked, we made a ton of chicken vegetable soup for Elaine and Bill Sandefur from church.  Elaine was just diagnosed with A.l.S., was a devastating diagnosis.  She is getting weaker and weaker.  Bill has never had to function without Elaine.  He didn't even know how to run the microwave or dishwasher or anything.  He is quickly learning.
After working so hard all day we made a lovely salmon dinner with strawberry salad and sweet potatoes.  Too yummy, watched a movie and lights out by 10 pm - oh we are a lively bunch, we drank a bottle of  Cupcake Petite Shirah.  Started on the Cupcake Malbec but it wasn't as good.
Sun. Came with sunshine a a busy schedule.  Sell raffle tickets at church, Dot helped me Usher, there were 54 in church that day, we served our cookies and coffee downstairs, had lots of fun, got out of church by 11:30 and Dot was on her way home by 1pm and I aw off to Elaine and Bills with bread, soup and cookies.  Spent 3 hours there and had a lovely visit and stopped at Martha's in Remer on the was home, Elaine and Bill live in a beautiful log home on Thunder Lake.  Martha in a very tiny apartment in Remer and wants help with a garage sale.  Can't do it, she wanted to know what some crystal might be worth.  I don't think she liked it when I told her a dime a glass.  We are in Remer and there just isn't a market for that stuff.  I will go so far as to take and store it for our church garage sale but that's it.
We also met Jim and Sue Brown in Emily for dinner that night.  Their 40th wedding anniversary.  They have a lovely log home with at least three double and triple garages on Daget Lake in the Cross Lake area.  We will go over there around Christmas time.  She decorates so beautiful.  That was a busy Sunday.
Monday we were on the road by 6:30 to go to Duluth for my final back checkup.  Stopped at Doug  Lindamood's for coffee. Was at x-ray by 9am.  I am as good as I will be and out of pain so I can't complain, won't ever be as good as new but I am greatfull to be where I am right now.

I am helping with the annual coat give-away at church.  Thanks to Gail's suggestion I asked the Lion's for $250 for coats and our WELCA group from church gave $100.  So we have money we have never had before.  I have gone to the Hill City Thrift store yesterday and today hit Goodwill, Salvation Army and Saver's in Duluth and got over $200 in coats alone today for kids.  We then met Doug for lunch at The Olive Garden.  I love their bread sticks.
Just heard Jim return from town.  We forgot to bring eggs.  Going to make waffles.

Have to run.

I just finished breakfast and Jim bought some microwave egg scrambles and they were wonderful with milk and toast and coffee.

Tuesday we cleaned the church from 9-2 with a potluck lunch, I wish my scalloped potatoes and ham would have turned out better.  Had them in the crock pot maybe 6 hours too long.  They were OK but for a church potluck you want yummy.

I ran a bunch of flyers around in the afternoon for our Fall Bazaar.  Now I really have to get going on that.  Jim is about to take a nap and I need to take the dogs out for a walk.

SAT AND IT'S BAKE DAY

I have 4 bandaids on my fingers because it is so dry my finger just split.  Hard to type.
I can't believe how quickly the week has gone.

I have put so much effort in the Fall Bazaar marketing and so much more to do.

Dot got here Thurs about 4pm.  I already had been to morning crafts, The Bethany Crafter's we call ourselves.  We have a fun time and miss Elaine.  She just found out about a month ago she has ALS and is going down hill fast.  I will read for her in church Sun. but I need to get some soup over to her.  That's easy.  Dot is here and can help me.    On Thurs after crafter's I brought my bag in the house and it had the stuff I was to take to the Rapids and get printed so after I am parked in front of the printing shop and discover I didn't have my folder I turned around and went back to the house to get the folder.  No use being upset - I spent a good 2 hours on the road instead of an hour is all.
Got home about 4:30, Dot and Callie were already there.  Callie of course is her dog.  We went to town to the meat raffle and I had to run across the street at 6:30 for 1/2 an hour for a craft meeting at The Remer Arts and Craft store.  They are sponsoring the Fall Bazaar and I am helping with the marketing.
Dot and I went home and had hot dogs for dinner.  Burnt hot dogs, it was dark out and they were really well done.
We went to The North American Bear Center in Ely MN.  About 140 miles north and East of here, the colors were spectacular along the way.  What fun and then we came home and had a wonder salmon dinner with strawberry salad and sweet potatoes.  It was wonderful.
We put in a mystry movie I got from the Library in the Rapids and by 9:30 we were tired and hit the hay.

WED. & WELCA

This isn't hard to do but I seem to just let the day get away from me.  Worked on the WELCA checkbook and did printouts of both savings and checking for our meeting.  I still have to go to the Rapids today so I had bets get this done and get at it.
Sun. Church, read in church, was the first time this year, they gave me lots of time to heal.
Had an 11am meeting at the Remer Arts &Craft shop with Patty, I said I would help her do advertising for the Fall Bazaar and then picked up Jim and the babies and we went to Mable Lake for our yearly Lions Picnic.

I brought a Strawberry Salad, it's yummy and someone brought a wonder coleslaw medley.

Mon. we went over to see Gordy and June but mostly discuss the accident right outside our house about 10:37 Sun night.  A 31 year old neighbor rolled his truck, no seat belt, had asked for a ride home from The Pub even.  There was a fire in the parking lot and he was afraid police would show up so he took off.  Now he is gone.  Brought some Papa Murphy Pizza's and cookie dough over to his place for the family.  How can you do enough, can't bring him back.

SATURDAY IN THE PARK

Well I haven't walked yet today so I think I will go over to Quadna only 14 miles from us and do a long walk as soon as it warms up.
I covered some of my plants last night - I think we had a hard frost.  Brought in a lot of my plants and plant stand.
Norm left a little after 7:30, I think he was happy to start the second phase of his journey.
Jim had a lot of fun having him here.
Time for me to have breakfast, I had a lot of fun at wine club last night.  We only had five of us there, Dee, Darlene, Darla Gail and I, I bet you thought I had a thing going with all the D names didn't you?
Later.

D.O.S.S. TONIGHT

Well here it is Friday and I haven't posted this week.  Laying in bed this morning I was thinking that I would like to be able to  just talk into my I-Pad instead of typing.  Where has the week gone?
Yesterday we had our first Bethany Crafter day,  it was Lorretta's birthday and I made a spice cake but was disappointed with the frosting but it sure tasted good.
I talked to Patty Leerssen about marketing for the craft sale so I need to get my notes together.
IT'S JIM'S BIRTHDAY TODAY. He is 69.  When will he catch up to me.  71 is lonely.
Jim's friend from the Army is still here.  He leaves tomorrow back home for central IL.  They sure have had a good time fishing this week.  Norm took us out to dinner last night and I had walleye at The Sawmill Inn.  Jim and Norm were roommates over on Korea.
Yesterday I only walked one mile because my hands got so cold, it was 34 degrees out and today it's 33 so we aren't going untill 8am, yesterday I went at 6:30.

Where does the week go?.

Tue. already.  You can tell fall is here when Otto uses his bed in front of the fireplace.  I got my 2 mile walk in yesterday, first time since I was gone for the weekend.  Left for BOXELDER bug days Thurs. morn.  I didn't do well walking there.  I left for my walk in the dark yesterday but today I will walk with Sue and we are meeting at 7pm.

BOXELDER BUG DAYS

Did you know Bug Days and beer go together?
Got to Minneapolis Thurs morning - saw Skye and got a much shorter hair cut for winter, I like it.
Went to Heidi's by 1pm and we were in Minneota by 4:30.
It is now Sat.  and we just left my cousin Marquita's by Lynd. Nice visit.

SUNDAY MORNING

Otto is licking the top of of Jim's head, it's a ritual. What can I say.  Jim is so lucky To have a friend like little Otto.  It's just too bad I have to pull Makons and Otto apart when I come back from my walk.  Makons just doesn't want Orro to say Hi!
I did my two miles this morning but it felt like I had ten pound weights around my ankles.  I was going pretty slow but decided it didn't matter, I was there and I was walking.
We went over to Gwen and Greg's for dinner on Lake Roosevelt last night.  What a nice time we had.  They are finishing off their lower level.  It will be beautiful.  They have a fireplace over the bar at eye level.  It is pretty cool!

I have to go to my laptop to add pictures.  What a beautiful day today.  I love looking at the field out the window to see the huge round bales.  What a view.
I also wish I could figure out how to put the picture of Hope at the State Fair.  Truly a picture is worth a thousand words.

SEPT 1ST AND IT'S GLORIOUS OUT

Well, got my walk in, Jim couldn't go, his arch is bothering him.
He turns 69 this year and both Alexis and Laura have birthdays, so does Dede.
How quickly time goes, Mac and Laura and the kids are at the fair today,  Jim's daughter Carrie went one day for 11 hours with all the kids.  That is one brave woman.
I would like to get down for the MIA (Minneapolis Institute of Art) exhibit of Rembrandt but I just bet I won't make it.
I can try but it would have to be on Wed and Jim has a Dr. appt. and needs a driver, maybe on the flip-flop.
I would also like to see the new Swedish Institute.  They have added on to it I hear.
I came home and ate the biggest roll I have ever seen so the walk was a waste of time.  I pigged out.
I have to go and wash my kitchen floor.  I have put it off long enough!

THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH AND FALL

I can't believe it's going to be Sept. tomorrow.  Another summer has come and gone.  I am so blessed to have seen another one.  It's been another busy week.
Mon. I was just tired and really didn't do much but I was on the road Tue. Morning by 5:30 AM heading for Little Falls to pick up Alexis to swing back thru Brainerd so she could get a shot for her back.  We got that taken care of and I even got to see River and Autumn.  We went out for a bite for lunch in Little Falls.  Back to Brainerd because I had a 2 PM appt. to get a shot in my eye for my macular  edema.  I go only every 10 weeks but Jim has to go every 6 weeks for shots, it's not going well for him.  His vision is getting worse.
I got really tired going back to Brainerd.  I just have to pay attn. to it.  Got back to Remer just fine.
Wed. I started working on the sewing room.  A lot to do.  After I walked of course.  Church at 7 PM and Bible study after.  Fun getting back in the swing of things.
We are studying other religions.  I like knowing more about them and being open minded.  They gave us a handout and listed Mormonism-Christian Science-Jehovah's Witnesses as cult's.  I almost feel like that's a dirty word and don't like putting these religions in that category.  But what do I know.  Glad we are studying them.
Thurs. I picked up Janet Brown, she needed a ride to the Rapids to see her eye doctor.  I was going to see my car doctor.  They said I needed new brakes, got them fixed - oil change and rotate tires.  Over $600.  How special.
We had a lovely lunch at Applebee's, I love their ribs.  Did my shopping while Janet got a haircut.  It worked out great and we were home by 3pm.
We heard from Janet that Gordy across from us might need a transfusion so went over to check on him and Jim missed his dentist appt.  We be bad, can't even remember a dentist appt. we discussed earlier that day.
I had to be in Crosby to my annual eye exam, went well, an hour there, 2 hours at the clinic, a stop at their bakery, Otto and I enjoyed the great outdoors while I had coffee and a roll.  It was so yummy.
Jim went up 55 miles to Cutfoot Sue lake and brought home a mess of fish and corn on the cob for lunch.

PRINCE HARRY WASN'T THINKING WAS HE

I don't remember how old he is but old enough to know better.
We went to "The Pub" last night, Judy Probst 70th Birthday Bash, good food, good band and good beer.  Bethany church was well represented.  I should have brought the camera.  I sure didn't do much Sat. or Sun.  Silly me, I worked the funeral at church from 10 to 4pm.  Long time on my feet.  Jim came in about 1pm to help out in the kitchen.  Lot of the guys did.  Don, Paul, Jim, had to be more than that.  It was Betty's  first funeral to organize and she did a good job.  I brought Turkey sandwiches.  We quit doing hot dishes much to my dis-satisfaction but this really worked out well because they kept trickling down for an hour and a half.
We also had chips, dip, cake and bars.  Lots left over for ushering on Sun.  Jim and I helped Darlene who stepped in for Nancy and Skee.  In the afternoon we went over to Gordy and Junes across the street from us - Gordy turned 86 I think.  I have to run, time to go walking.  More later.

SKYE AT HER NEW SALON

She opened on the 16th of Aug.  Got her license on the 15th - loving every moment of it so far.

WANTED YOU TO SEE PICTURES OF THE KIDS

At Mac's and Laura's - my annual photo of the kids.

FUN DAY AT THE TICK

I put up another 6 quarts of refrigerator pickles this morning, while doing dishes I had to lean on the sink, back gets a little sore when I am at it for hours but I recover quickly.  Poor kitchen floor needs some attention.  Can't help but get some of that wonderful sugar brine spilt.

We went to the Wood Tick theater today and enjoyed ourselves.  Jim went fishing in the morning, he is out right now as a matter of fact, that man never seem to get tired of it and always excited to be going.
We got a call from Don and Elsie and she has some tomatoes for us so I am going to put up some salsa today.  Would like to do some either mango or black bean and corn salsa.  Maybe I will do both.
We had a picnic in Akley's outdoor downtown park - fun statue of Paul Bunyan right there.  It's being worked on this year but I have pictures from last year that are good.  Sat with John and Darlene, Don and Elsie.  Just before we got there about 200 bikers were in the park, no not the kind of bikes that make the noise, the kind Lance Armstrong rides, yes I heard today he was stripped of all of his titles.  What a dumb thing to do, take drugs to win, if it's true that is.
Fun luncheon and a lady from the bike group gave us brownies that were light and packed with chocolate chips and carrot cake.  The frosting was amazing.  Yum Yum I say!   Jim was beside himself.
It was funny, we hurried home because we thought on the way home it was Friday, wasn't only Thurs.  We had to be at "The Pub" at 6pm on Friday for Judy Probst surprise 70th birthday party.  Just goes to show you we don't have a clue as to what day it is.
Will be a busy day because I have to make two loaves of sandwiches for the funeral tomorrow, over 200 are expected.  I don't know the woman but I will work like crazy.  So will Jim - he is good at the dishwasher and washing dishes.  The trays get heavy,

This is a picture of Dot and Nancy from last year.  Paul Bunyan is at the park where we have our picnic.  Of course both Dot's dogs Callie and Katie were there but Dot lost Katie over the winter.  She only gets rescue dogs these days and has lost three to cancer.  It's so say and I know no one on this earth that is a better dog parent than dot, except Skye is right up there too.  And me.  Hey anyone who loves their pet should be included.  We love our pets so much don't we.

Woodtick Theater today

Had church last night, it's neat to get involved again.  We are going through Galatians and with the insights of the others I am getting a lot more out of the Bible study.  Of course we sing.  We are "The Singing Church".  Too  fun and no one can play a piano like Gwen.

I SURRENDER

I should pay attention when the computer tells me an error has occurred, you loose everything you put in after.  HELLO!  Why am I surprised when it happens.  Who knows maybe someday I'll get it.
The week sure seems to get away from me.  I have things on the calendar everyday this week.  Mon. We did our weekly buying trip to the Rapids.  After our two mile walk on the school track.  Linda has joined us the last two days and Jeannie joined us on Mon.  The eight times around the track goes so much faster when someone shows up and Susan and Gary are on vacation.
My banana is a little ripe today.  It is now Thurs. and I am getting back to my notes.
I have misplaced my cookbook that I wanted to use for Refridgerator pickles.  It's Lyn Hops mom's recipe from her church cookbook.  My kids won't have to look for my name in any cookbook.  It didn't happen.
Tue. I went to see Krista, a young girl (7th grade) from church play volleyball only the game was cancelled so I only stayed 20 min., fun to watch the kids try so hard.
Mac will be happy to know I bought the correct ink for my printer and his old printer works beautifully, it sure doesn't seem very old. Mine was purchased new and it was more outdated than this Canon printer.  It's lovely.
I also bought some blank Dvd's.  I had told Mac I needed him to look ar my laptop because it wasn't duplicating but it is now, I may have purchased the wrong blanks.
Tue. Night was big for me.  As a member of The Lions, I have been pretty inactive, well I worked Bingo for the first time this year and had a good time.  I think it's next week I work the meat raffle.
I also bought a big ice cream scoop, my last one broke and it works so slick for filling muffin tins.  I buy the Krusteaz brand Banana Nut muffin mix and instead of milk I use apple sauce, more moist, and throw in more pecans, heavens you could throw in craisens too if you wanted.
They are so yummy, love em.
Wed. I just am trying to clean out a bookcase and do some office things.
We have a big funeral Friday so have to get ready for that too.
